His first film, "6-nin bocchi," finished shooting in Hiroshima in October 2023, and will be edited and released in the fall of 2024. The talk show was an hour of real stories about the process of making the film. The moderator was NISHIZAKI Tomoko of the Hiroshima Film Commission.

Director MUNETSUNA began by explaining how he came to know Producer NODA. "I was so impressed by his posts on SNS that I strongly wanted him to produce the film, and I almost went straight to him," said Director MUNETSUNA. On the other hand, Producer NODA said, "He told me that he had done a lot of preliminary work beforehand and only needed my advice, but I found myself immersed in the production process. I wonder if I was deceived," he laughed.

Initially, the film was to be an independent film with a budget of several million yen and the location was to be Miyoshi City, the director's hometown. But due to the director's good personality, the film attracted more talented young actors and staff than initially expected, Producer NODA was prepared to go over budget and changed his mind about making a 10-million-yen class general film. Accordingly, the script written by the director himself was reworked by MASAIKE Yosuke, winner of the Japan Academy Prize for Best Screenplay for the film "Anime Supremacy!" and the title was changed from "Live in the Present" to "6-nin bocchi".

Six friendless kids attending high school in Tokyo. When they have to form a group for a school trip to Hiroshima, they decide to form a group with only those who were left out. Will they be able to get together?

The revised story is set in Hiroshima, and while it contains elements of the atomic bombing and anti-war, it is also a story that can relate to today's young people who are isolated.

In closing, he said, "Now I feel that I have done it. Please look forward to the release of the film in the fall of next year.”
