“We are” was on the screen at Yokogawa Cinema at 13:00 on Saturday, November 23rd.

After the showing, Director Michihito Fujii was on the stage and the talk show started. The interviewer was Michita Kimura, a radio personality.
This film was so popular that the hall was filled with fans immediately after opening the door, but Fujii faced a lot of difficulties when he planned for the film. “It was very hard to raise capital,” said Director Fujii. “It was my 30th birthday when the shooting started.”
“All casts and staff members were getting along, and we have had a good relationship since then.” the director said. Asked what he wanted to tell the audience in this film, he replied, “Social networking services have spread widely, which made society more diversified, but at that same time, intolerant. I wish society would change into one where Tatsuo could be saved.”
Director Fujii received an award at Damah Film Festival in Hiroshima, the predecessor film festival of Hiroshima International Film Festival. He said,“this was my turning point.” In the hall, were Director Choi Hyunyoung, Director Zoe Lin Kuan-hui and Producer Happy Hsu Chin-wan, who once received the Grand Prix Award at the Damah Film Festival. “When I participated in Damah Film Festival, I realized that many directors abroad were making great films, which made me to work hard. I really appreciate it.”
“For me, this is my festival. I would like to contribute to this film festival,” said Fujii, and the hall was filled with applause.
