At the beginning of the talk show, Director LEE greeted the audience saying, "I am glad that so many people came, and no one left in the middle of the show.” He also mentioned, “Ms. NISHIZAKI let us know as we participated in the flower offering at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park the day before, that the film festival president suggested we also visit the Cenotaph for Korean Atomic Bomb Victims.” He recalled the time, saying, "I keep in mind that many people, Japanese, North Koreans and South Koreans, were victims of the bombing in 1945."

Asked about his encounter with the main character, KIM Kyuhyun, he said that when he went to Nepal for a different documentary film five years ago, he learned through SNS that Mr. KIM was teaching painting in Nepal.

Knowing that Mr. KIM, 74 years old, was living the rest of his life for all children, he wrote a long letter to Mr. KIM, wanting to let the world know about his present activity. Mr. Kim accepted on the condition that he (Director LEE) would not deliver the story in a glorified way. Director LEE then began to stay in the area and started to depict the interaction between Mr. KIM and the Nepalese people.

The director was called Captain because there was only one Sir (sir : Royal and noble rank) in their lives. While the children were drawing, the director did not talk to them, and tried as much as possible not to disturb them. He did not need to ask questions because the drawings were clear, he continued.

For a question about Director LEE’s impression of Nepalese people, he answered, "They are pure people, I have never seen them angry, nor arguing or quarreling." He was also asked if the film had been screened in Nepal? He said that actually he had plans to do so, though it coincided with the Hiroshima International Film Festival, he chose Hiroshima. This comment was met with applause from the audience. He expressed his enthusiasm that since the film had received a good response in Hiroshima, he would take it back to be screened in Nepal.

As an interesting story first presented in Hiroshima, he revealed that the songs in the film were arranged from traditional music by Mr. KIM's son, and that the godmother of the goat named "Toula" was the director's daughter.

In August, Mr. KIM visited Korea for the exhibition. He told us that all the children's paintings had sold out before the director went, so he bought a painting of the teacher and hung it in his office. He said that he would like to have an exhibition in Hiroshima as well, and when Ms. NISHIZAKI asked, "Will Mr. KIM come too?", he replied emphatically, "He will definitely come!" The talk show ended with a mention of the next exhibition in Hiroshima.
