STORY


Seong-ho, who is only good at music and has autism spectrum disorder, cannot shave without his mother's help. His mother has given everything for the music of Seong-ho, but her younger son, Geon-gi, thinks that his brother is "petty and useless". However, as time goes by, the older brother's music shines more and more, and the younger brother finds something in the life of the older brother and mother…
logline: Autistic disabled older brother with great talent in music, mother dedicated her life to the older son, and younger son behind them. An 11-year record of a family's conflict and reconciliation against the fateful alienation of life.

Gwanjo Jeong
Gwanjo Jeong started his career as a TV producer, and produced TV documentarise and factual series. "Nocturne" is his first feature-length documentary film. "Nocturne" won the Best Documentary Film at the 42nd Moscow International Film Festival, Special Jury award at the 10th Millenium Film Festival, and the Art Contribution Award at the DMZ Documentary Film Festival in Korea, also had screenings at sevral film festivals in Europe, Asia, and the US. His works are focused on the beauty of ordinary human lives.
