<Story>
The Sachino family used to run "Sachi no Yu" bathhouse, but it has been dormant
since the sudden disappearance of the father a year ago. Futaba, the cheerful and determined
mother, works part-time and brings up her daughter on her own, until one day she is
told she has only a little time left to live.
On that day, Futaba makes a list of things she must accomplish and starts working on it.

Takashi Watanabe
Takashi Watanabe was born in Hiroshima in 1976. He is a composer acting various fields such as composing chamber music for concerts and composing visual music including films and TV commercials. He is an associate professor at Osaka Collage of Music.
He received the music award at the 37th Japan Academy Film Prize for “The Great Passage” (2013).
Many films for which he composed music were screened at film festivals around the world, for example the Cannes and the Berlin. The short animated film “663114” (2011), for which he was in charge of the music, directed by Isamu Hirabayashi, received the Special Mention Award at the Berlin International Film Festival and also received the Ofuji Noburo Award at the Mainichi Film Awards.
Films he composed scores for; “Her Love Boils Bathwater” and “A Long Goodbye” directed by Ryota Nakano, “108: Revenge and Adventure of Goro Kaiba” by Suzuki Matsuo, “Teiichi: Battle of Supreme High” by Akira Nagai, “The Tokyo Night Sky Is Always the Densest Shade of Blue” by Yuya Ishii, “Our Blue Moment” and “his” by Rikiya Imaizumi.

Ryota Nakano
Ryota Nakano was born on July 27, 1973 and grew up in Kyoto. After graduating university, he entered Japan Academy of Moving Images (present Japan Institute of the Moving Image). His graduation project “As We Go Cheering Our Flaming Lives” (2000) won the academy's Shohei Imamura Award and the Tama New Wave Grand Prix.
After six years' experience of assistant film director and television director, he directed “Rocket Punch” (2006). It won seven awards including the Hiroshima Visual Exhibition Grand Prix, the Nagaoka Indies Movie Competition Grand Prix, the Fukui Film Festival Grand Prix and the Mito Short Film Festival runner-up.
In 2008, he was chosen as a member of the young filmmaker development project by the Agency for Cultural Affairs in Japan. He directed a short film “The Sparkling Amber” (2008) on 35mm and it was appreciated.
His next film “Capturing Dad” (2012) was invited to many film festivals around the world including the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival. The film won fourteen awards such as the Best Director Award at the 9th SKIP City International D-Cinema Festival and the Grand Prix at the 3rd Sakhalin International Film Festival.
“Her Love Boils Bathwater” (2016) is his first film screened at many movie theaters in Japan. It was highly praised by the audience and many film awards. It received thirty-four categories at fourteen film awards. Especially it won six awards at the Japan Academy Film Prize.
“A Long Goodbye” (2019) warmly portrayed a family dealing with the father's dementia and impressed lots of audiences.
He is a Japanese film director who repeatedly portrays families from his unique viewpoint and sensibility.
