On returning from class, a teacher is questioned by his wife, who distrusts his pedagogic project: an “Academy of the Muses” inspired by classical references, which is supposed to contribute to regenerating the world through poetry.

The controversial project triggers a series of situations dominated by words and desire.

Raffale Pinto, an Italian professor of philosophy at Barcelona University, lectures on Dante's "Divine Comedy". The lecture progresses from about the roles of goddesses in the epic to about his own "theory of women", and the discussion, which are attended by not only university students but also mature students, heats up. On the other hand, quarrels between Professor Pinto who preaches "theory of women" and his wife escalate at home.
The audience will identify themselves as students in a lecture theatre, feeling they are witnessing the professor's behavior with their own eyes, and encounter some scenes that will evoke laughter.
A masterpiece by Guerin who explores the boundary between documentary and fiction opening the new frontier.
