<Story>
“Kamisama no Kureta Akanbo” [Heaven Sent] is a re-make of Noboru Nakamura’s comedy, “Shukin Ryoko” [Travel of Collecting Debts], released in 1957. The lives of Shinsaku and Sayoko, an unconventional couple shacked up together, change course when Shinichi, a young boy searching for his father, is brought to stay with them. The film watches their relationship develop on a journey that starts in Onomichi in Hiroshima and continues down through Kyushu to Beppu, Amakusa and Nagasaki.<Staff>
