Damien Manivel
After being a dancer, Damien Manivel studied film at Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains. He has made several short films, including Viril (2007), Soit sage ô ma douleur (2008), La Dame au chien (2010) which won him the Prix Jean Vigo and Un dimanche matin, which received the Prix Découverte of the Semaine de la Critique at Cannes in 2012. Un jeune poète, his first feature film, has been awarded by the Special Mention in Locarno Film Festival.
