The screening of “Hiroshima Carp Theater” was packed with audience!

This feature film was originated by the book of the same title written by Mr. Soshi Masumoto. The story is about a man who visits a theater which is on the verge of closing down and he provides some ideas to restore the theatre by telling many stories on how the beloved local baseball team, the Hiroshima Toyo Carp survived through financial difficulties. The audience also enjoyed some behind-the-scenes episodes during the filming they shared.

At the end of the show, singer, Ms. Ayano Nonomura showed up on the stage and mesmerised the audience by singing the the ending theme song of the film.

A talk show with the director Mr. Hideyuki Tokigawa and the leading actor Mr. Yoshimi Tokui, who is also very popular as a comedian, followed the screening.
