Akiko Takakura, one of the last remaining survivors of the atomic bomb attack on Hiroshima, tells her life story. She describes how, amidst the terror and nightmares, she found a moment of rare closeness with her father.

Andre Hörmann
Andre Hörmann was born 1975. He studied political science at Humboldt University, Berlin, directing at Filmuniversity, Babelsberg and graduated of Professionals Program in Screenwriting at UCLA. His documentaries have been shown and awarded at many prestigious international festivals. He works as a director, producer and
writer in LA and Berlin.

Anna SAMO
Was born in Moscow, Russia on 29.08.1980. Dreamed about becoming a clown - or a superintendent. Became animator. Favorite childhood activities were drawing on wall paper, declaiming poems and destroying the family porcelain. 1999 started studying architecture in Moscow. After two years gave up and changed to animation. 2002-2006 was studying art-direction of animated films at VGIK (Film University, Moscow). 2006-2013 was studying animation at HFF “Konrad Wolf” in Potsdam, Germany.
Since October 2011 freelance animator in Berlin and New York. Samo's independent films were shown at acclaimed film festivals around the world such as Berlinale, Annecy, Stuttgart, Hiroshima, Encounters FF, Cork FF, Aspen Shortsfest etc.
