Lee Gahong is a graduate student at the Korea National University of Arts, where she also obtained her undergraduate degree.
The director’s short film, "I Should Have Killed That Bastard" (2018), was invited to the Mise-en-scène Short Film Festival, the Great Short Film Festival, and the Jeongdongjin Independent Film Festival. Her second short, "The Square" (2021), was screened at the Busan International Short Film Festival, and "I Will Always Love You" (2021) premiered at the Seoul Independent Film Festival.
