Next year, the 1st Helvetica Swiss Film Festival is scheduled to be held in Tokyo. As a pre-project, we will screen the documentary film, "No Business Like Show Business", (2012 / Switzerland / 90 min), with HIFF 2018, pursuing men who yodel behind the magnificent nature of Switzerland.
Members of the yodeling group formed in a small town between the mountains are local young people who usually engage in agriculture and dairy farming, but their lives start to move greatly after they have won the contest.
One of two directors who filmed this work, Director Martin Schilt will visit to Japan as a guest for the first time from Switzerland.
