Ms. Ayano Nonomura will sing the theme song of The Hiroshima Peace Award-winning work, “Hiroshima Carp Theater” a cappella!

We will invite Ms. Ayano Nonomura who sings "Sore Yuke Carp" in this year's Hiroshima Peace Film Award-winning work, "Hiroshima Carp Theater" (2018 / Japan / 94 min.). At the award ceremony on the second day of the festival, she will sing a cappella with a beautiful soprano voice called, “a miracle singing voice.”

Ayano Nonomura
Born in Shimonoseki City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Ms. Ayano Nonomura studied vocal music at Hiroshima Music High School and Osaka College of Music. She won Student Music Concours of Japan in 2009 at High School Section and in 2012 at University Section, which is the gateway to success for Japanese students. She has become the first two-title winner in history and completed the Excellent Award at Nikikai Opera Institute. Ms. Ayano Nonomura attracted attention when she sang Japan’s national anthem at the opening ceremony of the Japanese High School Baseball Invitational Tournament. She has won a number of top prizes at domestic competitions and she is widely active from classical to game music. Also, at the Mazda Stadium opening game for the 60th anniversary of the founding of Hiroshima Toyo Carp, she sang Japan’s national anthem.
