The Hiroshima International Film Festival 2017 begins today. About 20 international invitees arrived in Hiroshima. The Jury president, Mr. Kim Dong-Ho, Mr. Rithy Panh, director of “Exile”, and Mr. Albert Serra, director of “The death of Louis ⅩⅣ” participated in the flower offering in memory of the victims of atomic bombing, at the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. Moreover, Mr. Kim Dong-Ho visited the Monument to Korean Victims and Survivors and offered flowers. He said he knew about the monument since before coming to Hiroshima.

The Hiroshima International Film Festival 2017, with the concept of "The film festival gathers films carrying positive messages" will be held from November 24th to 26th at the NTT CRED Hall, Hiroshima City Cinematographic and Audio-Visual Library, and Yokogawa Cinema.
