<Synopsis>

Adapted from SOMEI Tamehito’s novel of the same name, Faceless is directed by hit-maker FUJII Michihito (director of acclaimed films such as The Last Ten Years and 18×2 Beyond Youthful Days). The film plunges into the mysterious case of a fugitive with “five faces.”
KABURAGI (YOKOHAMA Ryusei), arrested and sentenced to death for a murder that shocked Japan, has escaped. Now a fugitive, he travels across the country, crossing paths with Sayaka (YOSHIOKA Riho), Kazuya (MORIMOTO Shintaro), and Mai (YAMADA Anna). Hot on his trail is Detective MATANUKI (YAMADA Takayuki), who interrogates these three witnesses. However, the KABURAGI each one describes seems like a completely different person.
For 343 days, KABURAGI stays one step ahead of the law. Who is he, really? And what is his true purpose as he traverses Japan, changing his face at every turn? When the final truth is unveiled, it will challenge everything you believe and move you to tears.
