<Synopsis>
Is it a sin for an idol to fall in love? This is the devastating question at the heart of the trial facing YAMAOKA Mai, the star of the rapidly rising idol group Happy☆Fanfare. Her world turns upside down when she unexpectedly reunites with her middle-school classmate, Kei Mayama, and finds herself falling for him. Torn between the industry’s strict “no-dating” rule and her own burgeoning feelings, Mai’s resolve shatters after a pivotal incident, leading her to impulsively seek refuge in Kei. Now, eight months later, she sits in a courtroom, sued for breach of contract by her own agency. As president YOSHIDA Kōichi and chief manager YABUKI Saya subject her to a harsh cross-examination, every choice she made is questioned, and her entire career hangs in the balance.
