<Synopsis>

After the death of his wife So-eun, Hyun-soo returns alone to Hiroshima, the last place they traveled together. There, he encounters Yoon-joo, who is also revisiting the city ahead of her divorce from Jae-young. They begin to explore the city together, revisiting locations from their respective pasts.

When Jae-young learns Yoon-joo is in Hiroshima, he follows her there, suspecting a romantic relationship between her and Hyun-soo. But upon arriving, he realizes their meeting was purely coincidental. His presence, however, begins to unravel hidden truths about So-eun’s past—truths that Hyun-soo never knew.

As Hyun-soo desperately searches for meaning in memories, Yoon-joo urges him to let go. Tensions rise when Jae-young’s new lover, Kyung-hye, unexpectedly appears—prompting Yoon-joo to reach an emotional breaking point.

Eventually, Jae-young and Kyung-hye leave, and Hyun-soo and Yoon-joo journey to a new location. There, Yoon-joo reveals that she has always known Hyun-soo’s approach wasn’t accidental. Rather than reacting with anger, she meets the revelation with calm acceptance—perhaps because she, too, had guessed the truth.

Their connection may have begun with sorrow and revenge, but it moves toward something more ambiguous and human. In the end, they cross a line they can’t uncross. But at the final fork in the road, Yoon-joo chooses a path Hyun-soo never expected.
