Emi's mother, Meiko, lives in Hiroshima and Meiko was a survivor of the atomic bombing.Meiko was exposed to the atomic bomb in Hiroshima on August 6, 1945, and walked around Hiroshima searching for her father. During this time, she met some "special students from Southeast Asia" who were studying at a university in Hiroshima at the time. With their help, Meiko tried to survive.
This work depicts the fate of the students and Meiko, using Emi's drawings of her mother's experiences and an interview with Meiko herself.CAST
