STORY
Chiena, a junior high school student, is preparing for an entrance exam. Her grandmother is in the hospital with a brain hemorrhage, and she visits her every day, but all she does is study in her room.
One day, she finds her grandmother's notebook in the room, and Chiena feels her grandmother's feelings, so she decides to do something.I made this short film. I made this story to depict the love of a grandmother to her grandchildren and vice versa, and at the same time, I hope to suggest to those who are living in the life of hard living to make ends meet, the need to recover time and regain themselves, which unfortunately has been lost for this reason.
I wish those who live in hardship to look at the sky. I really hope that they will remember that they still have time to look at the sky.
I believe that this film is necessary for our difficult situation in the world and in our daily life.CAST

Born in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture, he directed the short film “This window, other side” while a student at the New Cinema Workshop in 2004, which was selected and invited to festivals in Japan and abroad, along with the short film he made after graduating, “Inside of …”.While preparing for a feature film, he became depressed and was in and out of hospital for three years before returning to work on a mid-length film, “My Father's Mistress”, which screened at a number of film festivals in Japan and abroad. The debut feature film with all his might "You are here, you were here " was released in over 30 cinemas nationwide in May 2020. The film is also highly acclaimed overseas, having been invited to screenings and won awards at many film festivals, despite the difficulty of entering foreign film festivals due to the COVID-19.
