On November 12th, “Cloud Kumo”, which is directed by Yvonne Ng, was screened as Japan-premier at Yokogawa cinema and was followed by a talk show.
This short film depicts the horror of atomic-bombing through the lives of a survivor and her granddaughter. The theatre was filled with audience and many Hiroshima citizens who helped making the film while shot in Hiroshima. The director brought the 2016 Student Academy Award medal that she won for the film and thanked everyone involved in the film.
