<Synopsys>
Antonym is a slow-burning drama about human connection, told through the story of two women who come together to write a radio drama. Vain and self-centred Aya is forced to find a writing partner to work on the radio script she is developing. Heavily reluctant to collaborate, she partners shy co-worker Sachiko, who eagerly embraces the project. Peppered with coincidental occurrences and failed relationships, and powered by the friction and growing friendship between the women as they work on the script, Antonym is as much about the inevitability of human connection as it is about the necessity of it.

**A journey through the memories of Sonja André, an adventurer from the 20THcentury who lives in a shelter she built herself on the island of Motu Maeva. Without following a chronological order or a specific route, with images captured in Super-8 film between the 1950s and 1970s, and the voice-over of a woman, a trip, or a map, following an unceasing movement from Chad to Indochina to Tahiti.
“While I was working in Sonja’s garden, I noticed a circle caught between two trees by the pond. I was intrigued. She told me it was there because no one was paying attention to the beautiful poplars on the other shore. So the circle was meant to indicate where to look. That’s when I got the idea and decided to start filming the garden: in order to create a portrait of Sonja, I would have to depict the place she shaped with so many details. She used to say ‘this gardener presents freedom: everyone can do with it as they please.’ I took her invitation literally.”

In the fields, we can see them stretched out in the grass or grazing peaceful. Large placid beasts that we think we know because they're farmed animals. Lions, gorillas, and bears grab all our attention, but have we ever truly looked at cows? Have we wondered how they spend their days? What do they do when there's a storm or when the sun comes out again? What do they think when they stand still looking as though they're contemplating the void? Do they indeed think? Right in the middle of a herd and following the cows' rhythm, Bovines shows cows as they truly are.

In order to investigate her brother's death, Kayoko visits Mizuki, her brother's girlfriend. As strangers to each other, they behave guardedly, descending a mountain path in a mid-summer. Day_03

Three characters in Paris over the period of a single day. They don't know each other and they won't cross paths. However, they all share, insidiously, a feeling of confinement. Because of an external event, each of them will leave their usual environment and go through a singular experience in the gaps of urban space. Here they'll discover, through being adrift, a dimension of themselves that they never knew existed until then. Each person must in turn confront a kind of arbitrariness that is neither right nor wrong, which is simply called reality.
